1. Segment the pages into sections for ease of reading. Each section should be short and to the point.
2. Graphics can slow down the loading of a web page. Remember, many potential customers have slow computers and/or modems.
3. Make sure your text stands out clearly against the background color.
4. Review your website periodically. Examine the contents to make sure it is still current and accurate. If you expect customers to revisit your site, remember to change the information periodically.
5. If you have an on-line application, keep the form simple and easy to complete. Remember, what you really want is to get just enough information to contact the prospect directly (even over the telephone). Don't bog down your on-line application with too much detail... just get the basics!
